Anything agreed in writing for your specific job takes precedence over the general terms below. ## Quotes Quotes are free and carry no obligation. A quote is based on what we see at the site visit and on what you tell us about the job. If something is found once work starts that could not reasonably have been seen beforehand: for example unknown services, unsuitable ground or buried material, we will tell you before doing anything extra and agree how to deal with it. ## What is included Unless your quote says otherwise, the price covers all materials, excavation, sub-base, edgings, drainage, the surface itself, removal of all waste and a full clean-up on completion. We buy the materials ourselves up front. They simply stay ours until the job is paid for, which is what lets us ask nothing of you until the work is finished. ## Payment There is no deposit and no payment of any kind until the job is finished and you are happy with it. Payment is due on completion in line with the quote. ## Timing and access We will agree the arrangements for the work with you before we start. We need reasonable access to the working area, and where relevant a water supply and somewhere to place materials. Work may be paused where weather makes it unsafe or would affect the quality of the finish; we will keep you informed and resume as soon as conditions allow. ## Guarantee All work carried out by us comes with a 5-year workmanship guarantee, covering everything other than fair wear and tear. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by others, by misuse, by alterations made after we finish, by ground movement outside our control, or by failure to carry out ordinary maintenance. If something is not right, contact us and we will come and look at it. ## Your consumer rights Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights in relation to services carried out with reasonable care and skill. ## This website The content of this site is provided for general information about our services.
